Hello !
And Welcome to my Homepage !
My name is Anne Britt Skjoldal, I'm 49 yrs old, and I am just in the process of starting my very own cattery. I'mvery excited about it, as cats have been a passion of mine for years. I have 5 of them at the moment - and I probably spoil them rotten - but they are a huge part of what brings meaning to my life,- and I intend to keep on spoiling them.....
Still, being the owner of a pedigree cat, you know what cats and shows and competition are all about. And that fact gives you several entrances to where you want to fund your philosophy when it's YOUR turn to start breeding pedigree cats of your own. I like to think that my breeding is going to have specific goals in mind - and that I harbour a goal of making good things, if possible, even better, and also, that my breeding program will show plans well worked through for the years still to come..
As of right now, I own five cats :1 Persian/exotic black/white girl, 1 neuter female silvertabby Exotic, 1 Tortoise/White Exo girl, 1 blue point Himalayan girl, and one Exotic Shorthair creme boy. I also await the arrival of yet another Exotic Shorthair during 2004. If nature takes it course and works our way, of course.
Above you can see me - To the left there's a piture of me and my Stud male, Mollèns Xtazy-Exo, him being just 9 months old - and to the right I'm holding my Exotic Shorthair Silvertabby girl IP (N)Ma Jolie's Attention. Her name - TILLY - is the very same that I chose to use as a cattery name,- TiLLYTURF. 'Cos me being hooked on Persians - well, I already was. But for me getting hooked on "Lazyman's Persians" - Exotic Shorthair - as well, that I owe to her. Which is why I let her name be the bottom line in my Cattery Name. Immortality is not for creatures without a soul, someone once said. Well - that actually applies to our cats too,- all you have to do, is look'em in the eye, and at least this woman knows what she sees ;- sometimes sadness. Sometimes anger,- sometimes the gruelling thought that she actuallt reads my my mind !
So therefore, in all the walks of - even - a cat's life, I strive to make the expression in my darling cats' eyes, a content and loving one. When I talk to them, and when they socialize among themselves. If I can achieve only parts of that, it's a victory in it's own right....
